Passion for Stainless Steel

Manufacturers of vehicle accessories since 1968, Parafancar is now an international leader in the market: the entire production chain is designed, developed and created within the company, to guarantee that the final product is entirely "Made in Italy". We are constantly investing in quality and safety with the aim of increasing the already interesting share of the foreign market, mainly in the Euro area, which is currently around 50%.

New moulds and new machinery, but also certifications that attest to high product standards, such as the European approval of EU standard E24 73R and TIG welding. The current and future goal is customer satisfaction, thanks to research into new solutions too.

  • 1968

    Foundation

    The company is founded by Maffeis Guerino and given the same name. Originally production focused on entirely handmade front and rear mudguards. Both the processing methods and finished products were very different to the "industrial" ones used today.

  • 1980's

    Acquisition

    With the entry of the owner's sons, Angelo and Alessandro, into the company, the company takes on its current name and new lifeblood is injected into the product catalogue and into production. The historic Gerosa brand is acquired, and is still owned, thus expanding production to mopeds used for transport.

  • 1984

    Toolboxes

    Standard production sees the addition of toolboxes, an event that marks the turning point for Parafancar. The decision is made to set aside the creation of mudguards and increase that of galvanised, stainless steel and painted boxes, in various thicknesses and sizes, all customised to meet customer needs.

  • 1990's

    Market leader

    Also begins the stainless steel water tanks production. Models differ depending on the vehicle on which they will be mounted. Even hand-washing tanks see a constant growth in production. Customisation of products becomes the strength of the company and combined with quality allows for constant growth, placing Parafancar among the market leaders.

  • 2006

    Nylon handles

    The technology and know-how of a competing company is acquired. One particular advantage is the contribution of moulds for the patented Nylon handle, still used today. The introduction of this handle has given new impetus to the production of different models of boxes, including the current top-of-the-range "Europa" line.

  • 2018

    The anniversary year

    50 years after its foundation, Parafancar participates as a direct exhibitor at the most important trade show in the sector, in Hannover from 20 to 27 September (IAA). In the same year, the Europa boxes obtain European approval as lateral protection devices in compliance with European standard ECE R73.
